Handmade quilt
Mara’s literary quilt creations, offered at RECE conferences, are legendary! This year’s edition is based on the much beloved children’s story, Where the Wild Things Are, by Maurice Sendak.
The quilt will be embroidered with phrases such as:
- You are deeply loved
- Love makes the world go ‘round
- Snuggle in peace
Mara will make a personalized quilt patch for the back of the quilt with whatever information is requested: perhaps the name of the child and/or the giver.
This is a handmade quilt, 50×70 inches, all cotton, machine washable, all cotton batting.
The quilt will be on display at the RECE conference. The lucky winner will receive both the quilt and a copy of the book Where the Wild Things Are.
