Date

Dear Colleagues,

We are very excited to share with you updates from the RECE Steering Committee.

RECE Turns 30 – Save the Date

It is hard to believe, but RECE turns 30 this year. While we are not going to be together celebrating at a face-to-face conference, we are preparing three (3) virtual events with fabulous panellists and moderators: October 27th, November 30th, and January 26th. Part of this celebration is a RECE membership drive to have 300 RECE members. Please support us – become a RECE member!

RECE Awards

RECE awards are now open. Please see the call on the for the RECE website Bloch Distinguished Career Award 2021 and the Rhedding-Jones Outstanding Dissertation Award 2021. We particularly encourage you to nominate your reconceptualist doctoral students! Please visit our RECE website for details and encourage your doctoral students and colleagues to become RECE members.

RECE Palestine Solidarity Scholarships

Unfortunately, due to the fast-evolving covid-19 pandemic, we have had to cancel the planned conference. Instead, we have worked with Bethlehem University to support 10 students from disadvantaged backgrounds in Palestine based at the departments of early childhood education and social work. The scholarships will cover tuition fees and study resources: Donate today!

RECE Conference 2022

RECE will be back with a face-to-face conference with blended options in 2022 (location and date TBC).  Subscribe and become a RECE member to be the first to learn more about it as information becomes available.

In the meantime, please stay well and healthy. We miss you all!

Due to the COVID Pandemic, the 2020 International RECE Conference was cancelled. The conference, hosted by Bethlehem University, would have seen RECE return to Palestine after 11 years.
